1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern your use of mediconnectworld.com, operated by Bizconnect WorldWide Portal, 1st & 2nd Floor, Holiday Inn Muscat Al Seeb, Al Mawaleh South, Muscat, Oman. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this service is — and is not

We publish information about medical procedures, destinations and facilities, and we can pass your enquiry to clinics or facilitators at your request. That is the whole of the service.

• We are not a hospital, clinic, medical practice or healthcare provider of any kind.
• We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a second opinion.
• We do not employ, supervise, train, register or vouch for any clinician.
• We do not arrange, supply or guarantee any treatment.
• We are not a travel agent and do not sell travel services.
• We are not an insurer and do not provide insurance.

3. Your contract is with the clinic, not with us

If you decide to be treated, your contract is between you and that clinic or hospital. They are responsible for the care they provide, for their own pricing, consent process, clinical decisions and complaints procedure. We are not a party to that contract and cannot enforce it on your behalf.

4. Information on this site

We take care over what we publish, but medical practice, prices, accreditation and entry requirements all change. Information on this site is general, may become out of date, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician who knows your history.

Accreditation status changes. Where we mention that a facility holds an accreditation, you should confirm it yourself on the register of the body that issued it before making any decision.

5. Referral fees

We may be paid a fee when you contact a clinic through this site, and we may earn commission on travel products. This is explained in full in our affiliate disclosure. It does not change the price you pay.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not submit false information, or another person’s details without their permission.
• Do not use the site to send medical records or clinical documents — see our privacy policy.
• Do not copy, scrape or republish our content without written permission.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, we are not liable for the clinical outcome of any treatment, for the acts or omissions of any clinic, clinician or facilitator, for any loss arising from a decision you make based on information published here, or for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Third-party links

The site links to clinics, regulators, accreditation bodies and other organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your data.

9. Intellectual property

The content of this site, other than third-party material used under licence, belongs to us. Photography is used under open licences and credited on our image credits page.

10. Changes, governing law and complaints

We may update these terms; the version published when you use the site is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of the Sultanate of Oman. Nothing in this clause removes any protection you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
